This Japanese Kanji phrase means, to do appropriate things at the right time and in the right situations. This phrase was originally used to direct armies in the civil war period of Japan. It is well-known that the Shogun, Shinngenn Takeda, loved the phrase.

風

means “wind” which implies “fast”.

林

means “forest” which implies “calm”.

火

means “fire” which implies “aggressive”.

山

means “mountain” which implies “stability”.

Sometimes, you should see this Kanji phrase written on a flag or sometimes shown in Japanese Samurai moves. Make sure to keep your eyes open, or you might miss it.
